Public Works Supervisor
The Town of Severance has an immediate opening for a Public Works Supervisor. Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Previous municipal government experience preferred or any equivalent combination of required education and experience. Five to seven years preferred Public Works experience. A valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver’s License and tank endorsement certification that meets the Town of Severance’s standards; ability to maintain throughout employment. Flagger / Traffic Control Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment. Willingness to possess a Class D Water Treatment and Level 2 Water Distribution Certification and a Class C Wastewater Treatment and Level 2 Wastewater Collections Certificates. FEMA Certifications 100, 200 and 700 or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment. Must possess a valid Colorado Commercial Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record. Public Works Technician
The Town of Severance has an immediate opening for two Public Works Technicians. High School diploma or GED equivalent required; some municipal maintenance experience preferred. Must possess a valid Colorado driver’s license. Must have a CO Commercial Driver’s License Class “B” and maintain during the course of employment, with a good driving record. Possess or have the willingness to possess a Class D Water Treatment and Level 1 Water Distribution Certification and a Class D Wastewater Treatment and Level 1 Wastewater Collections Certificates. Other applicable certifications may be required at Town expense. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
